Nordisk Kaktus Selskab (The Nordic Cactus Society) in its current form has existed since 1965. Despite the name, the company treats all groups of succulents: all cacti are succulents, but not all succulents are cacti. The focal point is our membership magazine. The articles are all about growing and propagating cacti and other succulents. You may find travellogs and articles about many different plants in words and pictures. We arrange an annual meeting - with the participation of speakers and plant traders. The social contact and exchange of experiences at the meeting is in itself a valuable incentive to attend these meetings. The society also includes a few local branches (Jutland, Funen and Zealand), where you can easily find the activities that take place closest to your place of residence. In addition, horticultural visits are arranged at home and abroad.
